Chris McRaney is the founder and President of Team Georgia Baseball Academy. Coach Mac has a variety of coaching experience in private and public high schools and has been a part of some very successful programs in his 10 year coaching career. Coach Mac’s TGBA teams have combined to post a 273-86 record that includes a Perfect Game National Title along with numerous state and regional championships. In addition, within the last three years alone, 45 former TGBA players have signed college scholarships. Coach Mac started TGBA because he has a passion for kids and for baseball. He is looking forward to the rest of the TGBA organization (coaching staff, parents and players) to continue building on its success. TGBA is well respected in travel ball circles both on and off the field. It is because of the coaches, players and parents that this reputation has been established. Most importantly, Coach Mac is committed to the development of the players as young men and athletes both on and off the field. He wants to encourage all those who play for TGBA to become winners of the most important game of all – The Game of Life. Coach McRaney was a double business major at Mississippi State where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He also has a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Georgia State and currently teaches special education at the high school level. Coach Mac lives in Marietta with his wonderful wife Kathryn and their twin boys. |
